             Founded in 2014, Studio Louise Mertens has always focused on brining fresh perspectives. Her work became a trademark of herself.

Louise creates a metamorphosis by combining her manual paintings, photography and digital techniques into carefully curated and sophisticated work. Using neutral, balanced colours, abstract shapes and calm around her diverse subjects.

Louise is a digital native growing up with the earliest version of photoshop, quickly becoming part of the first wave of young digital artists around the globe. Leading her to experiment and develop signature techniques recognised in many of her works
 
In her artwork, she aims for authenticity. Therefore the manual input is indispensable. Her admiration for natural elements and textures makes her art tangible. The blend of her process by hand with digital manipulation causes the eye to doubt what it sees.
